About Healthy Food Choices

Tips on Chips

Be assured that your food is prepared safely and in a hygienic manner.

All staff have basic food handler training

The business has achieved FoodSafe or equivalent (as a minimum). This includes having practices in place which achieve safe food, such as temperature monitoring, ongoing staff training, comprehensive cleaning, proper stock rotation and safe food handling.

*FoodSafeTM is a Food Handler Training Program developed by the Australian Institute of Environmental Health.

Enjoy your food in the comfort of clean air.

HOT Accredited Businesses provide smoke-free indoor dining.

Note: The Public Health Amendment (Smoke-Free Areas) Act 2001 now means that most food outlets will automatically meet the HOT smoke-free criteria. The Smoke-Free Areas Act makes it unlawful to smoke in most enclosed public places and workplaces, with some limited exceptions.
