Unfortunately, Tasmanians (children and adults) are not eating enough vegetables.
In a state known for its abundant production of high quality and wide range of vegetables, this is a strange paradox.
Eating sufficient vegetables can offer protection from chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart and cardiovascular disease and overweight and obesity.
Vegetables beyond their health value are also tasty and readily included into everyday meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner. We encourage all Tasmanians to #vegitup.
