Lees Orchard

It wouldn't stretch the truth to say that for many Launceston families, 'local fruit' is assumed to be Lees'.
North - Spring - Fruit

This regional favourite has been supplying crisp and juicy fruits to locals for generations, starting with the planting of apple trees on their Dilston site back in 1916.

Today the farm gate tradition and a commitment to locals continues, while production expands in scale and variety. Today the Lees Orchard team are proud to provide a vast range of fruits throughout the seasons, recently adding cherries to the much-loved selection of apples and pears.

With fifteen delicious varieties to choose from, and a seasonal selection of local vegetables throughout the year, Lees Orchard’s farm gate is a must, just a short drive upriver from Launceston.

For something closer to town, find Lees Orchard at your local IGA, Young’s Vegie Shed, Ye Olde Green Grocer, and at the Harvest and Evandale markets each week.

Local Apples and Pears are available from March through to December, while the Cherry season is December to January. For further details and farm gate hours, visit the Lees Orchard Facebook page.
